Grant Thornton nabs former EY partner for private business tax team
Jenni Nash has joined Grant Thornton as partner within the firm’s private business tax and advisory team.
Grant Thornton has announced the appointment of former EY partner Jenni Nash to its private business tax and advisory team in Melbourne.
Nash brings over 25 years of experience working closely with family groups, family office, high net worth individuals and small businesses.
Her engagements have included international structuring and tax advice for fast-growth or early-stage businesses looking to expand globally, tax planning for family office to ensure seamless transition between generations, and tax advice and structuring for a number of high profile and high net-wealth clients looking to relocate into or out of Australia.
Nash said that private clients want an advisor that is focused on their needs, pragmatic and can bring depth and breadth of experience to them in the least complicated way.
“Private business is about connectivity and networks, and I leverage 25 years of relationships to support all aspects of a private client life cycle,” she said.
“I’m excited to be joining Grant Thornton and working as part of a team focused exclusively on private clients to achieve the best possible outcomes together.”
In addition to her extensive client service experience, Grant Thornton said Nash is a relationship-orientated leader who is passionate about nurturing people experiences in the workplace.
“In her previous roles at a Big 4 firm, she has been a strong proponent of women in business being an active member of cultural diversity mentoring programs and gender diversity initiatives,” Grant Thornton said.
