iseek announces Lendlease’s Linda Brown as its new CFO
As part of a company-wide restructure, financial strategist Linda Brown will return home from the UK to serve out of the firm’s Brisbane head office.
Digital infrastructure group iseek has announced financial strategist Linda Brown as its new CFO following a global search.
After two decades in finance, most recently serving in Lendlease’s London headquarters, Brown will bring construction and real estate financial management expertise to the new role.
CEO Scott Hicks said the hire was made as part of a company-wide restructure, adding the firm is entering a “new phase of growth.”
iseek is a leading Australian digital infrastructure provider, with particular expertise in data centre, cloud services, and connectivity solutions.
“[Brown’s] financial management credentials are outstanding, but beyond that she has focused on building strong relationships with government clients and investors,” said Hicks.
He added that Brown has experience in “delivering capital strategies, and managing one of the largest government infrastructure financing facilities in the UK.”
For Lendlease, Brown worked as the commercial and finance director for a $10 billion urban regeneration project in East London.
The offer, she said, “could not have come at a better time.” Brown began her career with PwC in Townsville, where she obtained qualifications as a chartered accountant.
Brown said the new role is “very exciting,” and that the move will allow her to introduce her daughters to the Queensland lifestyle.
"It’s the ideal role for me at this stage in my career and super exciting to be helping to drive a business that’s always looking to the future of technology, cloud platforms, and AI,” she said.
