Prosperity snags former KPMG partner as senior consultant
The advisory firm has announced the appointment of a new senior consultant and strategic adviser to its Sydney branch, Tony Nimac.
Nimac has previous big four experience, having been a former partner and board member of KPMG Australia.
Prosperity Advisers Group said Nimac will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role at the company, based on his 30 years of experience in the industry.
At KPMG, Nimac was responsible for leading its mid-market business through a significant growth phase where he achieved rapid expansion through market focus, strategic partner recruitment, internal promotions and acquisitions.
Nimac remarked: “I am excited to support Prosperity in their growth plan through my wealth of knowledge and connections to ensure successful and purposeful outcomes.
“I look forward to working with the executive team and helping the firm broaden its presence in the Sydney market.”
For the advisory firm, Nimac will be a valuable asset to the team based on his capabilities and past work with leading Australian growth companies and entrepreneurs, having helped them to scale locally and globally.
Prosperity CEO Allan McKeown said he was looking forward to seeing what growth Nimac will bring the company.
“Tony’s appointment is a major coup for the firm as we advance our strategic plan,” the CEO commented.
“His skills, experience and network will be invaluable assets as we continue to grow and expand our operations.
“Tony’s empathetic, curious and externally focused approach, combined with his strategic thinking and ability to navigate complex environments, makes him a significant addition to the Prosperity team.”
