Access to the forum is limited to practicing accountants who are Australianbiz subscribers, with annual memberships starting at $275. The site is monitored to ensure professional conduct remains a fundamental principle and will not include sponsors or advertisers.
Accountants can choose to remain anonymous or personalize their profile with their practice logo and display their specialties to their peers. This enables users to make contact with a specialist and potentially seek further assistance. Kaleb emphasized that the forum cannot be used for self-promotion, making statements, advocacy, or spamming purposes and is solely designed for the purpose of sharing knowledge with peers.
In addition to the Q&A forum, Australianbiz is an online resource for small businesses that provides a range of tax and financial management tools to help them become more profitable. The site includes monthly tax updates, quarterly articles on superannuation and estate planning, workplace law, asset protection and structuring, and business management, making it a valuable resource for practicing accountants.
