zeller aims to help businesses survive and thrive with new technology

The Australian fintech business banking company Zeller has announced the launch of a new all-in-one payments and point-of-sale solution for businesses of all sizes, ‘Zeller Terminal 2.’

Fintech business Zeller has released the new Zeller Terminal 2 for Australian and global businesses, with the aim to set a new benchmark in payments and POS technology to exceed outdated hardware.

Zeller said Terminal 2 will “redefine all-in-one payments and POS for businesses by combining industry-leading design, customisation, innovation and affordability”.

The new terminal includes a free, built-in point-of-sale app enabling businesses to create items, apply discounts, track inventory, send itemised receipts and manage entire sales operations directly from the terminal.

The terminal will also integrate “seamlessly” with over 600 third-party POS platforms, according to the fintech business.

Zeller co-founder and CEO Ben Pfisterer said Zeller is proud of the new terminal and is dedicated to delivering products at affordable prices.

“Zeller is proud to be a global leader in redefining the next generation in payments and point of sale,” he said.

“Zeller Terminal 2 is the most advanced, affordable, all-in-one payments and POS solution anywhere in the world.”

The new technology was designed and engineered in Melbourne with a unique hardware format which differs from what is seen in traditional EFTPOS terminals, according to Zeller.

The terminal will deliver security for cardholders and will accept more secure payment methods such as EMV chip cards, contactless cards and mobile wallet aimed to help reduce the risk of credit card fraud.

Other features of the terminal include split payments, automated tipping prompts, surcharging, long-lasting battery, 1.4 per cent transaction fee for all cards and a customisable display.

Pfisterer said the new technology marks a significant milestone for the company.

“In just over three years, we’ve delivered more financial services, payments and POS innovation into a single platform and are excited to introduce next-generation solutions to support our customers across Australia and see a positive impact on their businesses,” he said.

Along with the new terminal, Zeller announced the new app Zeller POS Lite which is a free, customisable point-of-sale app built-in to the terminal.

According to Zeller, the app will enable businesses to manage inventory and track sales without the need for costly hardware or having to sign agreements with multiple providers.

The app will feature a streamlined checkout process with items, discounts, modifiers and variants available on screen, reduced paper waste, seamless integrated payments, customisable item grid, and a drag-and-drop function.

Pfisterer said these new additions to the Zeller product market highlight the company’s dedication to delivering premium products that are efficient and seamless.

“We’re helping Australian business owners to streamline their operations, deliver a better customer experience and ultimately survive and thrive.”
