Perks and GPK Holdich join forces to bolster expertise
The Adelaide-based accounting and financial services firm has announced the acquisition of GPK Holdich.
Perks Adelaide announced the acquisition of local accounting and business services company, GPK Holdich, in a push to strengthen expertise and capabilities.
Perks said the partnership would further strengthen the firm’s business position as one of Australia’s largest independently owned financial services firms.
GPK Holdich was founded in 2008 and has built a strong reputation for delivering personalised, client-focused services in accounting, taxation, and business advisory, according to Perks.
The GPK Holdich team and client base were integrated into the Perks staff base, which has continued to operate as a team of “unified professionals.”
Along with the acquisition, Perks announced the appointment of former GPK Holdich director, Aaron Read, to director of accounting and business services at Perks.
Read said he and his team were proud to have joined forces with Perks.
“Perks shares our commitment to providing exceptional client service and career opportunities, building lasting personal and professional relationships,” he said.
“Our clients and contacts have also offered positive feedback about the quality of Perks’ reputation and, most importantly, the calibre of the people who work there.”
Perks CEO James Black said the acquisition was a “natural fit” due to the alignment of values and customer-centric approaches between the two firms.
“GPK Holdich’s long-standing relationships with South Australian businesses and individuals reflect their commitment to the highest quality tailored service,” Black said.
“This acquisition is an exciting step in Perks’ growth, expanding our footprint in the South Australian market and broadening the expertise across our firm.”
Read said GPK Holdich received positive feedback about the quality of Perks’ reputation and staff from their existing clients and contacts.
“We look forward to providing our clients with even further enhanced services through our partnership with Perks,” Read said.
