Two timing?
The Riviera 10659 is the latest piece in Baume and Mercier’s line-up and its GMT complication means wearers can keep track of time in two places at once. The first Baume and Mercier Riviera was released in 1973 and the fifth edition retains its distinctive dynamic and sporty design which the company describes as “classic and casual”.
It has a power reserve of 42 hours, automatic and self-winding movement, and is water resistant to 10 atmospheres - approximately 100m. The backing of the watch is a sapphire crystal case which allows the owner to show off the intricate technical workings. Baume and Mercier says the watch embodies “the brand’s vision of today’s watchmaking while fulfilling the expectations of the most exacting globetrotters”.
